Our Story

We are a small in home cattery located in Clarksville, Tennessee

I first fell in love with the Maine coon breed when I met my first one in the late 90’s. I have always had rescue cats and only dreamed of having a purebred Maine coon. While searching for a new cat on the rescue sites I was feeling defeated when every time I would find one I wanted it was already adopted. I told my fiance’ that I really thought it was time for a Maine coon and started my search. We were almost scammed immediately when I reached out to someone to ask about a cat. I stayed up all night after that researching breeders and their cats. I learned so much about buying my first Maine coon and what NOT to do, it was a real eye opener. We searched for several weeks and found our Jambi. We realized very quickly that he needed a brother and we were able to soon add our Phineas to our little family. At this point to say I had become obsessed with these cats is an understatement.

I decided I wanted to learn more about the science behind the breeding of these beautiful cats. The best place to do that would be at a cat show. Unfortunately, I had decided I wanted to do this in the first few months of the Covid-19 pandemic and all of the cat shows were canceled. However, when I set my mind to something, I will figure out a way to make it happen. I reached out to many breeders who either refused to talk to me completely or would only suggest I wait for the shows to open again. Thankfully, I met some wonderful breeders online willing to talk with me and point me in other directions to learn. I took an online breeding class which was very informative and found a site many breeders use world wide with so much information and resources available that I will continue to use. I reached out to TICA and found a mentor and have since formed amazing friendships along the way.

We now have 5 Maine coons, however, our first two, Jambi and Phineas, will not be a part of our breeding program but they will always be the OG’s of Kaiju! We have added Odesea Arabesque from Ukraine, Cherokee Cotovasia-coon and Dom Sapfiroff Olivka both from Russia. We are hoping for our first litter of Kaiju kittens in the early months of 2021….. stay tuned for updates!
